Saddleback H.S. Flips the Switch for Rooftop Solar Power System

Saddleback High School in Santa Ana Unified School District partners with Chevron Energy Solutions to create the largest Solar Energy project in Orange County. District Superintendent, Facilities/Government leader and elected officials were there for the "Flip the Switch" ceremony. Watch the video to see how the system works. It will power 75% of the school's energy needs and warm up the swimming pool!

Segerstrom F.H.S. Principal Shaves Head to Celebrate Academic Gains




Dr. Amy Avina, Principal of Segerstrom Fundamental High School, has alot less hair after 2 assemblies celebrating outstanding academic achievement by her Jaguar scholars. Thier API scores reached 812, the best of any Santa Ana High schools and some of the top scores in Orange County, CA.
